Instrumental Lessons
PIANO, SAXOPHONE, AND FLUTE FOR ALL AGES
Kenton’s Lesson Studio offers lessons in piano, saxophone, and flute. In order to provide a comprehensive and well-rounded music education, all students are encouraged to sing, play some piano, and to work separately on rhythmic or solfeggi-based exercises. Much of Kenton’s approach is based on Berklee College of Music curriculum and training.
Music Theory Tutoring
LEARN BERKLEE COLLEGE OF MUSIC’S CONTEMPORARY THEORY
For students who are keen on becoming professional musicians, Kenton recommends that students learn to harness the power and magic of music theory. Understanding the current trends of music theory, and the actual lingo that musicians use on the bandstand, is essential to becoming a professional musician in today’s music industry.
Ensemble Workshops
THE ART OF IMPROVISATION, RHYTHM, AND PULSE (ages 13+)
Kenton’s Lesson Studio provides group workshops for small and large ensembles, and everything in-between. When Kenton begins to talk about music, their enthusiasm and passion for the craft take over. This workshop is guaranteed to educate, motivate, and inspire. Kenton’s Lesson Studio ensemble class registration is now open. Please contact about auditions.
